How to download and copy torrent movies to PS Vita?

How do I download and watch torrent movies onto PS Vita? So I downloaded torrent movies to my computer in attempt to put them onto my latest Sony PlayStation Vita for playback. I downloaded them in AVI format and I tried copying them to the memory card but when I play them in there, the files cannot be played. Am I missing something?
